So, new blog, since mi madre thinks she gets more updates this way <sigh> its true.Life has been somewhat of a whirlwind: last week I opened Playing Juliet/Casting Othello after less than 50 hours of rehearsal, today I had my third rehearsal for the Odyssey which Im performing twice tomorrow and again on Thursday. Juliet/Othello opened to really small houses but vocal and appreciative audiences – lets see if the Odyssey can claim the same.
So, to date, I am a member of:
Company of Angels
4 Letter Entertainment
Towne Street Theater
Will and Co
CoA is moving to a new theater. In the short time Ive been with them, Ive performed in three shows, designed the sound for 3, directed 2 and worked crew on 2. And I also hold the title of Associate Producer of Wings Projects.
4Letter is kinda quiet. We havent done anything this year, but may do a Twilight Zone in January
TST has been active, though I havent been. Currently Im helping them read scripts for the ten-minute play festival going up in January.
Will & Co is a brand-new thing for me. One of my 2Gents folk turned me on to the auditions a couple weeks ago and they threw me right into the water. Tomorrow, Im playing a huge variety of characters, including Aphrodite and Circe.
In other news…
I am now the holder of the title to my car. Now that I am the owner of my car, I have been in my first car accident (not my fault, but minor damage done), and knocked off my left side view mirror (my fault). poor Honey!
My mechanical debacles have extended to my cell phone, which i dropped into the washing machine. (Is Mercury in retrograde?) Fortunately, replacing it with a new phone only cost me about $30. I am now the owner of a camera phone from Samsung. Papparazzi be ware!

Yep, this is nice
Wondered how that worked. Buying my own phone vs getting the “free” phone w/contract. Will try that when this contract expires. Seems to be a better deal.
Depends.. Sprint (and I imagine most others do too) usually offers some sort of incentive for renewing your plan, but they dont tell you about it unless you ask.
Am I the only one responding to this site? Well, if its free, I s’pose its okay. This seems a little more convenient than e-mail or is it just me?
Boo! Congrats on getting the title to your car! I’m sorry about the accident, but I hope you’re ok. Your blog is great!!
By the way, I now have a cell phone. (Don’t worry–I don’t answer it while I’m driving!!)
Here are my digits–(757) xxx-xxxx. (Holla, girl!)
ok, I will write down the digits and then delete them from the PUBLIC eye!
Boy, two of them are not only chekcing emails but commenting on blogs – we must really be in the new millenia
Wait: did she just say “holla, girl”????
Humph,,, well, will you kindly inform “Bobbsey” that I have not got the “digits”… not got the e-mail address…not got an e-mail (ever)…and have not been informed of the cell, period..and I’ve been waiting …and waiting…and waiting…and
